The beautiful South Africa lady who won and crowned at the 66th Miss Universe pageant was held on Las Vegas, USA on Sunday, November.
Miss South Africa Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters was crowned beauty pageant at Miss South Africa 2017 and she also won as the titleholder at the Miss Universe 2017 competition. She is the second Miss Universe from South Africa. She was born on 28 June 1995 (23 years old in 2017) and her high is 1.69 m (5 ft 6 1⁄2 in) who come from the Sedge field of South Africa.
She recently got Business Management degree and entrepreneurship from North-West University on 2017 and she is fluently speak in both English and Afrikaans language as well. She works as part time at Boss Models and Vision Management Cape Town. She is also one of the Africa Model.
She had a half-sister called Franje who is the daughter of her father and step mother and had a physical disability (especially cerebellar agenesis) who had died on 4 May 2019. According the word of Nel-Peters, her sister was the best motivation person and also inspiration person for her life. Because of the reality life of her sister life makes her to work twice as hard and twice to stay enjoy in her life.
Miss Nel-Peters faced with carjacked case when she was in the competition period of Miss South Africa and she was attacked terrorism into the car by the attackers but she was escaped with bravely her punch to attacker’s throat.
That why Miss Nel-Peters always trying to develop to train for women life when her spare time.
She want to all of women to be self-defense in any situations according the experiences of her carjacked case.
